Ecolabel is a European wide accreditation that is awarded to products or services where these products or services are superior to others in their field as well as being environmentally friendly. Because Ecolabel is spread through Europe, independent and impartial bodies administer Ecolabel on a national level. It is the duty of these bodies to assess applications.
