How do I clean stainless steel floors in a food factory?

Keeping everything clean in your food factory is really important. It’s best to adhere to a HACCP standard of cleaning. To do this you will need to use the correct cleaning equipment and HACCP compliant cleaning chemicals.

Your cleaning equipment should be colour coded according to which area it cleans. A mop that cleans the area where raw ingredients are stored should not also clean areas where food products are packaged. This will help avoid cross-contamination.

The best cleaning products to use would be from the Blendwell Chemicals h-range. You can use Alkali H which is great for cleaning food areas particularly those with fatty residues. This is a very powerful cleaning product.

You can also use Quot HF for cleaning your food factory stainless steel floor. This cleaning chemical is not only a great cleaner but also a fantastic disinfectant. This will cut down cleaning time and make life a little easier. This product is a registered disinfectant so you can have peace of mind.

Blendwell Chemicals manufactures their HACCP cleaning chemicals at their factory in Midrand, South Africa. For more information please visit www.blendwell.co.za/Food_Industry_Cleaning_Products.
