Cleaning Schedules for School Toilets

Like any good cleaning system, a schedule for cleaning is the best way to be sure that all cleaning jobs are done. All cleaning staff should be trained to be familiar with all cleaning that is required for all surfaces.

A checklist should be in place where after each cleaning job is completed, the time completed and signature of the person who did the job is filled in. This person can then be held accountable for this area for a specified amount of time.

A monitoring system should also be in place to check that the work that has been signed off has been done to a satisfactory level.

There should also be a faults and repair list that includes expected completion dates. This list must be maintained regularly to ensure that broken equipment is fixed or replaced timeously.

School toilet facilities need to be maintained with the highest level of hygiene in mind. If procedures are followed correctly, the health and welfare of students will be maintained.
