How to clean your workshop - Part1


Cleaning a workshop can be a major challenge. There is usually a huge amount of grease that needs to be cleaned and grease and grime can quickly and easily get out of hand and create big problems in this environment. Besides, it not looking nice it can also be a safety hazard as floors become really slippery and injuries are just waiting to happen.

Cleaning the floor in your workshop is a good first step to cleaning up your space. A great product for this is Blendwell Cleaning Solutions Maxikleen. Maxikleen is a degreaser and carries the SABS 1344 mark. It is a powerful cleaning product and is made to cut through grease and clean at the same time. This cleaning product contains both a degreaser and a detergent.

The best way to use this cleaning product is to mix one part Maxikleen with 10 parts of water. Spread the solution over the workshop floor that you would like to clean with a broom and leave it to activate from a few minutes.  Then simply scrub away with a broom and the grease will be lifted off the floor. You can also use a high pressure cleaner is you have one. This will make the job a little easier if you have a huge space to clean.
